I was skeptical about loose leaf since I usually just grab a bag, but this one steeps into such a smooth cup with barely any bitterness. The fine Darjeeling and Assam leaves give it a malty backbone that holds up well with a splash of milk.
The Darjeeling and Assam blend is really well balanced, the Assam gives it enough body without turning bitter if I let it steep a minute too long. Been drinking it with milk in the mornings and it holds up nicely.
The balance between the Darjeeling and Assam leaves is spot on—it brews strong enough for milk but stays smooth without any harsh bite. I've been reaching for it every morning this week and it's already become my favorite way to start the day.
