I was skeptical about loose leaf but the flat steamed leaves are gorgeous, dark green and intact. It doesn't turn bitter when I forget it for an extra minute, which is a real win for me.
Steeped a spoonful at 80°C and the liquor came out this vivid green with almost no bitterness. You can tell the leaves were steamed fresh because they stay flat and intact instead of crumbling in the pot.
I've been drinking this every morning for a week now and the steamed leaves give it such a clean, vegetal flavor with zero bitterness. Steeping it at a lower temp really brings out that delicate taste they describe.
