Steeped one in a clear mug and the amaranth and jasmine actually unfurled into a full flower right in front of me. The green tea itself is mild and slightly sweet, not grassy at all. Ended up going through half the box of 20 in two weeks.

I bought these mostly for the visual and they totally deliver — watching the jasmine and amaranth open in hot water never gets old. The green tea itself is light and sweet, not bitter at all, even when I forget it and let it steep a bit long. Twenty flowers in the box means plenty of refills.

The amaranth and jasmine flowers unfurl slowly into this big blossom, and the green tea itself tastes gentle and slightly sweet rather than grassy. I've been steeping a new one each evening just to watch it open.
