The glass is thin and clear enough that you can actually watch the tea leaves unfurl, which is the whole reason I bought it. It survived the dishwasher on the top rack without clouding up, and the 300ml capacity means I'm not refilling every five minutes.
The 300ml size is just right for watching a flowering tea unfurl without feeling like I'm staring into a fishbowl. Threw it in the dishwasher after and it came out spotless.
