George ★★★★★

Steeped a few strands in hot water and the whole kitchen smelled like a flower garden within minutes. The threads are long and unbroken, not the crushed powder I've gotten before, and you only need a tiny pinch per cup.

The saffron threads are so deep red they stain my fingers when I crush them, which tells me this is the real Kashmiri stuff. A pinch in warm milk turned it golden and fragrant in minutes.

Lucy ★★★★★

The 75g caddy is bigger than I expected and the threads are long, deep red, and smell incredible the second you open the tin. I've been dropping a few into rice and tea all week and the color and aroma come through every time.
