The thyme is subtle and doesn't fight the black tea at all — it just adds a soft, earthy sweetness underneath the malty flavor. I've been brewing it strong in the mornings with a splash of milk, and the 250g pouch has lasted me ages.
I was a bit skeptical about thyme in black tea, but it actually works — the earthy herb softens the malty edge nicely. The 250g pouch is generous, and the loose leaves unfurl beautifully in my pot.
The thyme comes through gently in the background and doesn't overpower the malty black tea at all. I've been brewing a pot most mornings and the 250g pouch is lasting longer than I expected.
