The dry leaves actually smell like fresh jasmine blooms before you even brew them. I noticed whole petals mixed in with the green leaves, and the scent comes through in the cup without turning perfumey. Second steep was still fragrant.

Steeping this at 175°F for about two minutes brings out a softer, rounder cup than I expected from a green tea. You can actually see the whole leaves unfurl, and the jasmine reads as a background note rather than perfume.
