The Darjeeling and Assam mix is what sold me, and it actually tastes like both — bright up top but with that malty body underneath. Two heaping teaspoons in a pot and it holds up fine with a splash of milk. Been drinking it every morning for a week straight now.
This blend strikes a nice balance between the bright Darjeeling leaves and the malty Assam in it. I've been drinking it with milk in the mornings and the Assam holds up well without the Darjeeling getting lost.
I usually avoid blends because they taste muddled, but this one keeps the Darjeeling brightness up front while the Assam gives it a solid malty base underneath. Steeps clean in about three minutes with no bitterness, even when I forget and leave the leaves in a bit longer.
