The aroma when I opened the bag was pure nostalgia, and the blend itself steeps into a rich, warming cup that's perfect for a slow afternoon. I've been brewing it with a splash of milk and a bit of sugar, and it tastes just like the chai from my favorite street stall back home.
That first steep hit different - the warm spice aroma fills the kitchen before you even pour the water. I've been brewing it with milk and a touch of sugar like the description suggests, and it's become my daily afternoon ritual.
I usually drink plain black tea, but this loose leaf blend with its warming spice profile is what I reach for on chilly mornings now. The rich flavours come through beautifully whether I brew it strong with milk or just sip it black, and the leaves hold up for a second steep without going bitter.
