The citrus kick comes through without ever overpowering the tea, and those young leaves stay smooth even if I forget the cup for a few extra minutes. I’ve already gone through half a box just on afternoon breaks.
The citrus smell hits you right when you tear open the foil, and those needle-like leaves brew up a cup that's bright without any bitterness. I've been having it as my afternoon pick-me-up and the lemon pieces actually hold their flavor for a second steep.
The lemon bits are so fragrant and the steamed Japanese leaves give it a softer, rounder taste than the usual bagged green tea I grab. I’m already on my second box this month, brewing it hot in the morning and cold over ice in the afternoon with happy results.
